The Editorial Policy ensures that the Tourism Tattler will provide editorial information on a wide variety of tourism, hospitality and business related topics, thus providing the tourism trade with a better understanding of tourism issues, legislation and legal issues that impact on tourism and explanations of marketing and business principles that may help them to become knowledgeable and credible providers of services to tourists who visit the Southern Africa region.

The Tourism Tattler further aims to be as representative of the Southern Africa tourism trade as possible. This is achieved by providing editorial content that encompasses information from relevant industry experts, trade associations and government departments.

Editorial space is provided to members states of the Regional Tourism Organisation of Southern Africa (RETOSA) which includes Angola, Botswana, DR Congo, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mazambique, Namibia, South Africa, Seychelles, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
